The race

Since 1987, the Veitscher Grenzstaffellauf has been run as a 54km individual and team race along the municipal border of St. Barbara im Mürztal, making it one of Austria's oldest trail running events. From 2026, this traditional event is expanded by B-TRAIL.Events with additional competitions such as Kids Trail, Vertical Race, Easy Trail, Speed Trail, Skyrace, and the classic Grenzstaffellauf now as a Marathon Trail.
