The race

The Ultra Trail of the São Mamede Mountains is an ultra-distance trail running event with 10 fantastic editions held. In 2024 it takes place on April 26, 27, and 28 in approximate distances of 100 km, 50 km, 20 km, and 15 km. It runs through the municipalities of Portalegre, Castelo de Vide, Marvão, and the border with Spain.
