The race
The Trail du Négus takes place on Saturday, 29 August 2026, in Xhoffraix (4960, municipality of Malmedy), on the doorstep of the Hautes Fagnes, and takes its name from the Cabane du Négus, a hermit who lived in the nearby moorland around 1950. Two courses are offered: an 18 km trail (600 m D+, start 17:30) and an 8 km mini-trail (250 m D+, start 17:45). Registration and timing are handled by Ultra Timing (€8 / €6 in pre-sale until 27 August).
