The race

The Trail des Chemins Oubliés connects the Cirque de Gavarnie to the Sanctuary of Lourdes over 70 km and 3000 m of positive elevation gain, following ancient pilgrimage routes. The event takes place between the two Angelus bells (start at 7 am, target finish at 7 pm) without rankings or podiums, prioritizing the human experience and heritage. Aid stations are 100% local and plastic-free, and each participant receives a St. James medal at the finish.
