The race

The Trail del Ciapà takes place in the Gulf of Dian, in the province of Imperia, in the Valle Steria, which includes the municipalities of Cervo, San Bartolomeo al Mare and Villa Faraldi. The course winds along paths and dirt roads, lanes and mule tracks, vineyards and olive groves, ancient ruins and hamlets, but also woods, pine forests and beaches.
