The race
The Trail da Cárcoda, held in Carvalhais (municipality of São Pedro do Sul), is a sporting event that invites athletes and nature lovers to explore the challenging trails of the Serra da Arada. Inspired by the emblematic Rota da Cárcoda, the course crosses unique natural landscapes, forest areas and places of great historical value, such as the Castro da Cárcoda — one of the most important castro settlements in the region.
