The race
Prajzské kilo is not just an ultratrail. It is a journey through a landscape that carries its own legend. The Prajz region was divided in two in 1742, when Maria Theresa lost it in the Silesian Wars. One country was divided and the border formed by the Opava River divided families, friends and entire destinies. And this border lasted here for almost two centuries – longer than how long we have been connected again. You will run through a landscape that did not let itself be broken by time or politics. A landscape where old stories are imprinted on paths, fields and tracks more than in chronicles. Follow in the footsteps of our ancestors. A hundred kilometers that will remind you that borders can disappear – but stories remain.
