The race
The Grand Finale of the Golden Trail World Series takes place for the first time in Korea in Deogyusan National Park, in Muju County. The 26 km course with 2200 m of elevation gain connects Hyangjeokbong and Jungbong, linking ridges and steep slopes. After the summit, the descent alternates between narrow trails in coniferous forests and rocky terrain, leading runners to Baengnyeonsa, a thousand-year-old Buddhist temple.
