The race

The Mt. Everest Challenge Marathon is described as « the most beautiful marathon in the world ». It takes place on the 3rd day of the Himalayan 100 Mile Stage Race, starting from Sandakphu (11,815 ft) along a ridge trail offering spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Kanchenjunga, before descending towards Rimbik.
