The race

Based in Zermatt, Matterhorn Ultraks offers six formats ranging from the SKY (49 km, 3600 m gain) and the steep EXTREME (26 km, 3066 m gain) to the more accessible MOUNTAIN (32 km, 2000 m) and ACTIVE (19 km, 1150 m). The VERTINIGHT (4.9 km, 691 m) runs after dark, and the Relay by Loyco splits the MOUNTAIN course across a three-person team.
