The race

The Mana Pass Challenge is an endurance race at high altitude located in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India. The course follows strategic border roads, descending from Mana Pass (~5,630 m) towards the village of Mana (~3,100 m). It is one of the highest road races in the world, organized by the Sarmang Society.
