The race
The Grand Trail de l'Ouest (GTO) is a night race qualifying for the Grand Raid de La Réunion, organized by the association La Team Lé Là. The main event, the Ultra Givré (85 km, 3700 m D+), starts at 23:59 from the Olympic stadium in Saint-Paul to climb towards the Maïdo and the Grand Bénare, offering a unique experience in the island's winter cold.
