The race
The Inca Wildmarathon is a trail race taking place in the Andes, between the valleys of Vilcabamba and Machu Picchu. The 42 km course is mainly downhill (1750m D+ for 3040m D-) and reaches a maximum altitude of 4450 meters. The event is part of the 6 Wild Marathons series and offers a complete stay including acclimatization and cultural visits.
