The race

This inaugural interprovincial trail challenge takes place in the Baoding Waterfall scenic area, 12 km from the county seat. The course, 65–75% on unpaved terrain, combines the natural spectacle of the waterfall with the tradition of the national intangible cultural heritage of the river lanterns of Ziyuan County.
