The race

The Coalminers' Trail is one of the most demanding trail races in Flanders, taking place on and around the spoil heaps of Thorpark in Genk, in the Hoge Kempen National Park. The course includes an ascent of 450 steps to the top of the spoil heap, offering a panoramic view of Genk.
