The race
The Berchtesgaden Alpine Adventure Trailrun leads trail runners through one of the most impressive mountain landscapes in Germany. The starting point is Berchtesgaden, from where the route winds through lush valleys, past clear mountain rivers and up to spectacular viewpoints on the border with Austria. Along the way, runners experience well-known natural wonders such as the Schellenberg Ice Cave, the legendary Untersberg and vast alpine panoramas.
